I love the actual balm itself but for the life of me I could not get a good sweetened flavor and I followed the directions. I almost have to say it is just scented and not flavored. I was a little disappointed in it...

The previous reviews are correct, it does seem to settle on the bottom of my balm mixture instead of blending, but so far I haven't noticed any grittiness in my finished balms. That being said, I wish there were more exact instructions included, such as the amount to use in relation to your balm base/mixture. So far I have not been able to find an amount that I am comfortable with using to really bring out the flavoring for fear of adding too much.

I made a few tubs of lip balm earlier with the Stevia. It did look like it would be gritty, but it wasn't. One problem I seemed to have was that the Stevia settled at the bottom and didn't flavour the lip balm much. I could have made a mistake when mixing it, though. It also seemed to crystallize around the sides, but a little bit of scraping did the trick for that.

I used this in the lip balm base. The lip balm page does explain that this disperses instead of disolve and thats true but its still great! A great price on a great product that works well! Even though it looked like it might be gritty in the final product it wasnt.
