4 out of 5 stars It worked in my CP soap :) 05/12/2013
Reviewer: Tanya Chappell from Bonnells Bay, NSW AU
I used this fo at 2.85% of my oil weight in a beer and yoghurt soap made with a high olive oil recipe. It took ages to trace, really ages! It didn't seem to want to come together (emulsify) properly at all at first. After my stick blender got too hot I changed to a whisk and it took another 15 minutes of continual whisking to emulsify. A further 10 minutes of alternating whisking with stick blending brought it to a light trace. In the mould it wouldn't properly hold a textured top and flattened out again during gel. I soaped RTCP and it didn't even start to gel for over 3 hours, then reached a full gel 1 1/2 hours later. I am glad the final soap was worth it and my perseverance paid off! It smells just like fresh baked bread or a really yeasty beer and was very popular with my male customers. I reduced my rating to 4 stars because of how long it took to make.
3 out of 5 stars Whole Wheat Bread Ricing in CP 12/12/2012
Reviewer: Joanne from Clarksville, TN US
I love love love this scent. Tried CP soaping this blend twice, and both times, it riced. I'm sad. Any suggestions? I would love to have this blend in a soap.
4 out of 5 stars No Dough... 08/21/2009
Reviewer: Lance Shaffer from Orlando, FL US
...I agree with many of the other reviews; this is less of a Bread scent, and much more a Popcorn, with hints of peanuts and a maybe a little caramel. I think that You could easily market candles with this scent under the name 'Cracker Jack'.
3 out of 5 stars Buttered Popcorn 06/20/2009
Reviewer: Heidi Seman from Grand Blanc, MI US
I have to agree with the other reviews... it smells like buttered popcorn! That's not a bad thing.. but dissappointing when I expected Fresh Baked Bread smell. My customers like it... but want it called popcorn. Any suggestions for fresh baked bread?

Everyone thinks this smells like popcorn. It's selling. But I might have to change the name as well. Hmmm
