Soft scent throw

I loved this scent. I normally don't like the flowery smell and was surprised to have really liked this. It smells like roses but not overpowering and very soft

My most favorite floral scent! It worked easy with Cp soap and has maintained a very strong and fresh rose fragrance!

Smells great, seizes CP soap

Love the smell -- it really does smell like roses, and I can't wait to use it in bath bombs and body sprays.

But, I tested it along with 6 other Nature's Garden fragrance oils all in one go, and it was the worst behaved of the lot. It didn't surprise me, as rose scents are the most notorious for acceleration. What I don't get is why the notes and other reviews fail to mention this. And yes, I hand-mixed it after trace.

Performs beautifully!

5 Fresh Cut Roses Fragrance Oil

Reviewer: from Charlotte NC

I am not a rose fan. I bought this because customer after customer requested a rose fragrance. It arrived and I was amazed to find it smelled like fresh cut roses, not the old lady scent I'd always associated with roses.

Then, I used it in soap. First try, I was able to do a quick hanger swirl before it thickened up (floral are known to accelerate)! The next time, I was even more prepared (soaped cool and to emulsion only) and was able to do a drop and hanger and do a pretty design on top.

This is an FO that performs beautifully as long as you're prepared for it and truly smells like fresh cut roses.

Not all rosey

Smells wonderful. Soaped with Pomace olive oil. The soap seized as soon as I put the fragrance in. The soap was at light trace, and the oils/lye were room temp. Next time I will HP this fragrance.

Accelerates in CP

4 Fresh Cut Roses Fragrance Oil

Reviewer: from Iowa

To my nose, this fragrance oil has notes of rose (obviously!), green/vegetation, and musk. I don't particularly care for strong floral scents, so this fragrance is close to the edge of too much flower power for me, but the scent is popular with others.

There is an odd sourness in the batch of soap I made last week, but older well-cured bars with this FO smell perfectly fine, so I suspect this odd tang will mellow out as the soap cures.

I have found this FO accelerates in cold process soap, so I use a two stage method of making soap. (1) Make the lye solution. Mix the hot lye solution with the solid fats and stir to melt the fats. When all melted, stick blend and stir to start the saponification. (2) Mix the FO with the room-temperature liquid fats. When the lye mixture is at light trace, add the liquid fats. (3) Hand stir and lightly stick blend the batter until it reaches a stable emulsion or light trace. Color and pour.

Smells Amazing!

5 Fresh Cut Roses Fragrance Oil

Reviewer: from Australia

The fragrance is amazing. One of my most popular scents. I have learnt if not added at trace it will rice. It needs a good beating from my point of view :)
It does accelerate trace ( in my case) so i had to work a little quicker than usual.
I still give it 5 stars for the amazing scent and how well it holds up in CP soap.
