One of my most favorites!

My most favorite floral scent! It worked easy with Cp soap and has maintained a very strong and fresh rose fragrance!

Accelerates in CP

Reviewer: A viewer from Iowa 11/23/14

To my nose, this fragrance oil has notes of rose (obviously!), green/vegetation, and musk. I don't particularly care for strong floral scents, so this fragrance is close to the edge of too much flower power for me, but the scent is popular with others.

There is an odd sourness in the batch of soap I made last week, but older well-cured bars with this FO smell perfectly fine, so I suspect this odd tang will mellow out as the soap cures.

I have found this FO accelerates in cold process soap, so I use a two stage method of making soap. (1) Make the lye solution. Mix the hot lye solution with the solid fats and stir to melt the fats. When all melted, stick blend and stir to start the saponification. (2) Mix the FO with the room-temperature liquid fats. When the lye mixture is at light trace, add the liquid fats. (3) Hand stir and lightly stick blend the batter until it reaches a stable emulsion or light trace. Color and pour.

Performs beautifully!

Reviewer: A viewer from Charlotte NC 03/15/15

I am not a rose fan. I bought this because customer after customer requested a rose fragrance. It arrived and I was amazed to find it smelled like fresh cut roses, not the old lady scent I'd always associated with roses.

Then, I used it in soap. First try, I was able to do a quick hanger swirl before it thickened up (floral are known to accelerate)! The next time, I was even more prepared (soaped cool and to emulsion only) and was able to do a drop and hanger and do a pretty design on top.

This is an FO that performs beautifully as long as you're prepared for it and truly smells like fresh cut roses.

Great FO

Reviewer: A viewer from Edmonton, Alberta CA 01/15/14

I really love this FO. It has a soft, powdery rose smell. It's not a true rose scent, but still lovely. I used 1.5 oz in a soy blend for container candles. I got excellent results with both hot and cold throw, it actually scented the whole kitchen AND living room. Surprising as I don't usually get such great results in soy with powdery smells. Definitely a keeper.

Perfect Rose

Reviewer: A viewer from Australia 07/06/13

This is not a sickly sweet rose but a soft light fresh rose - just beautiful. Soaps in CP like a dream, for those afraid of florals, this one behaves very well. I find I need to soap it strong but it's worth it.

Smells great, seizes CP soap

Reviewer: Claudia Carpenter from Los Altos, CA 05/30/15

Love the smell -- it really does smell like roses, and I can't wait to use it in bath bombs and body sprays.

But, I tested it along with 6 other Nature's Garden fragrance oils all in one go, and it was the worst behaved of the lot. It didn't surprise me, as rose scents are the most notorious for acceleration. What I don't get is why the notes and other reviews fail to mention this. And yes, I hand-mixed it after trace.

Soft scent throw

Reviewer: Refugio Carney from San diego , California 05/02/16

I loved this scent. I normally don't like the flowery smell and was surprised to have really liked this. It smells like roses but not overpowering and very soft

strong rose!

Reviewer: A viewer from Jackson, MO US 03/25/13

I use this scent in my soy candles. It really smells like rose. But it doesnt remind me of fresh roses. It is more like an old musk heavy rose. Like old lady perfume.
