Cold Process Soap - Acceleration!

Reviewer: A viewer from USA 09/04/13

Agree with the other CP soapers that this accelerated and riced pretty markedly for me! Surprisingly, no instant discoloration... I had separated my batter to do a swirl with fragranced and un-fragranced, but had to beat them back together and glop into mold. Great scent though!

Good but weak

Reviewer: A viewer from Fox River Grove, IL US 12/13/10

This smells great in the bottle. Then when I made soy candles with it, the smell seemed to completely disappear. After a week's cure, it is stronger again, but not as strong as i would like, and usually maple is overpowering. When blending, you have to use more of this than you would think to get the balance you want.

Smells burnt

Reviewer: A viewer from Alton, NH US 07/25/14

Does not smell like maple sugar out of the bottle nor when poured into soy wax. It just smells burnt! My customers do not like it. After repeated attempts to work with this scent, it still smells horrible. I regretfully have to purchase from another vendor to get that true Maple scent.

Bottle FO smelled icky but I was hoping it would do better once in soap but is AWFUL, so stinky! I am so bummed because I made 5 lbs of CP soap with it and had a wholesale customer interested in a maple scent.. Even after several weeks it smells awful :(

Our Signature Scent!

Reviewer: A viewer from Alma, MI US 07/09/07

We are maple syrup producers and I am a soap maker so you know we had to have a "maple" scent. I blended this with the Buttermilk Pancake, added cocoa powder and came up with our siganture scent for our cold process soaps. I expected some discoloration so I reserved a cup of raw soap to add after scenting. This is one of our best sellers.

Great maple scent

Reviewer: A viewer from Cincinnati, OH US 05/01/10

This FO smells like maple syrup. Too sweet for my taste but my maple loving customers love it. I sue it in soy candles, very strong scent.

Great for mixing

Reviewer: A viewer from Aliso Viejo, CA US 04/01/06

I mixed this fragrance with my buttermilk pancakes and it smelled wonderful. By itself it kind of smells like maple syrup and alcohol.
