I love the feel of cocoa butter soap. I made my layered soap recipe and my customers love how amazing it feels on their skin.

Sets up fast

I like cocoa butter soap so I wanted to give this a try. I'm glad I did. Wow, I love how it lathers, my skin felt soft and moisturized after my shower. It does set up fast as others had said. I had a hard time removing from my plastic molds. I finally used a hair dryer to heat a little and they finally released with no problems. I would buy again.

Set crazy fast

This was a nice base except for the fact that it set ridiculously fast. I like the soap I was able to make with it, however since it set so fast I was unable to really do any designs or layering with it.

I love NG bases because they are much nicer M&P bases than other retailers sell. This one is so soft on the skin and the melting temperature is actually not that high, though most NG bases do take longer to melt than others. This is just because the quality is better, in my opinion.

Great soap base!

I really like this base! It is a little harder to melt than other bases, but in my experience that makes your finished bar longer lasting! It took me maybe 15 minutes in the microwave to get it all liquified. It took scent well & gave me alot of lather! I think these bars will last my customers a long time! I just wish they were a little more moisturizing, but I am going to try adding some AKO & see what happens!

Requires Much Higher Melting Temperature

3 COCOA BUTTER Melt and Pour SOAP

Reviewer: from Brookhaven, Mississippi US

I melt my bases in a fashioned double boiler and usually I can have the stove top on low and melt bases fine. They usually don't film over. But this base required me to have a rolling boil under it just to keep it liquid and it started solidifying as soon as I pulled it off of the heat. I wound up having to scoop it into my mold. At first, I thought it might have been my FO, so I tried a different one and it did the same thing. And after taking it off the heat, it seems to keep heating itself for a few minutes because it got really hot inside my silicone molds. I haven't used any of it yet because I wound up putting the few bars I made into a scrap pile to reuse later because they looked terrible.

Good base, but needs something to make it slip.

I love this base. Despite lacking the SLS of commercial soaps, it gave a nice lather.

However, on it's own it had a slight drag on the skin and gave a slight tight feeling after washing off. You'll need an oil or butter if you like more slip to your soap and to reduce the tight feeling.

Still 5/5 though!
