Try some of our Polycarbonate votive cups/molds!  Our polycarbonate votive cups were designed with special pedestals on the bottom of them to help prevent counter surfaces from getting too hot.  These molds produce  1.75 oz. votives which have a burn time of approximately 10 hours. Polycarbonate allows votives to set up faster, and provides a glossier finish than metal molds. You can use these as attractive votive holders, or as molds.  Spray molds with Pam cooking spray to help wax release.   BUY MORE AND SAVE!!

Please note:  never leave wicks unattended.  When using as a votive holder, make sure that you maintain your wicks.  Burn candles for 1/2 hour at a time.  Never use a wick that burns too hot for the diameter it was designed to be used for.  These cups can indeed get hot enough to melt if the heat becomes intense enough.

I ordered 60 of these molds, and of those, at least 9 were malformed, maybe I got a bad batch. The finish candles do have a beautiful glossy finish, as is typical with a polycarb mold. The finished size is small compared to a standard votive. You definitely cannot burn in the cup using standard votive sized wicks. These would be great to use for small favor votives. Loved all the sample scents I ordered. Seem to be great quality FOs for the money.

I bought 100 of these to make favors for my wedding. I burned one myself, just to see how well they turned out... granted I should not have left it unattended, but the whole thing melted, cup and all, and left a burn mark on my kitchen counter top. I would recommend these as molds only.
