I used this in NG's french milled melt and pour as Xmas gifts. It smell like the smokiness of a campfire in cologne. It seems to grow on you.

I love a good smoky, woodsy scent. This is not it. Disappointing. It's very weak, and I suppose if I said it was called firewood you just might be able to pick up on it. Really disappointed in this scent, especially after reading the other reviews. I used it in a candle with joy wax.

I like it OOB but when I tested in my paraffin wax it changed and smelt like cologne.

Wish I could give more than 5 stars

This smells SO good. I am in love with this scent. It smells just like a campfire. It is equally popular amoung my male and female customers. I used it in my HP soap and the scent is holding very well. I didn't notice any morph from OOB to finished product in the HP soaps. Great scent!!

Ok scent but nothing like woods or fire

Reviewer: A viewer from Richmond, VA USA 02/22/16

I can't imagine why anyone would smell this and decide to call it cracklin firewood. It smells floral. It's actually an okay scent but I get no woodsy notes at all. I also can't imagine why anyone would think men would like this- I'm selling so we will see but I know my customers and seriously doubt men will want to smell like this. It could be used under a different name though and I do like the scent but wish I hadn't added it to a charcoal loaf. Used it in Mp soap.

Reviewer: A viewer from Adena, OH US 01/11/12

Had a male customer wanting an original scent in the form of a smelly jelly..and u know what it worked. He seemed happy and said it would be awesome to burn at the cabin during the summer for a winters night aroma.
