Green Beer Candle Recipe

Glass Beer Mug

Step 1: Using the double boiler method, weigh out and melt 405
grams of gel wax. Set the temperature of your stove top between medium and low heat to do this.
Step 2: Monitor the gel wax as it melts. Do not let the
temperature of the gel wax reach 230 degrees Fahrenheit or higher, use your
thermometer to watch this. As the gel
wax melts, you will
notice that the consistency
will become like a
3: Once the gel wax is
in a liquid like state, add 1 drop of Spectrum Yellow Candle Dye. Stir.
Next, stick the tip of a toothpick into the Spectrum Green Candle Dye, then dip
the toothpick tip into the wax. Stir again.
4: Place your pouring pot back into the heat source.
5: Using your hot
glue gun, center and stick your wick to the bottom of the beer mug.
6: Weigh out 32 grams of Green Irish Tweed Fragrance Oil. Remove your gel wax from the heat source and
add the fragrance. Stir slowly to prevent
having too many bubbles in your wax. If you do have
too many bubbles, set
the wax back into the heat
source and wait the bubbles out.
7: Slowly pour the wax into the beer mug.
8: Then, straighten your wick and set the candle mug aside to set up.
Make the Beer Froth:
1: Weigh out and melt 160 grams of Soy Wax 415, using the double
2: Once melted, remove it from the heat source and add 13 grams of Green Irish Tweed
3: Pour your wax into a mixing bowl and let it begin to set up. Once this occurs, grab
your hand held mixer and begin to mix it.
The wax will begin to
fluff. Once it has cooled and thickened, scoop it into the top of the candle mug. Once the mug top has been filled, allow your wax to
completely set up.
