136 grams -Coconut 76 oil
113 grams - Apricot Kernel Oil
74 grams - Cocoa Butter
62 grams - Shea Butter
50 grams - Silky Emulsifying Wax
12 grams - Beeswax
20 grams - Jojoba Oil
20 grams - Fluffy Pink Candy Fragrance Oil
5 grams - Optiphen preservative
5 grams- Vitamin E Oil
680 grams- white granulated sugar
15 grams - Arrowroot Powder
Clean & Sanitize your work area and all of your packaging materials. It is
suggested that you wear gloves, protective clothing, and a hair net while
preparing this recipe.
Weigh out Coconut 76 Oil, Apricot Kernel Oil, cocoa
butter, Shea butter, silky emulsifying wax, Jojoba Oil, and beeswax.
Melt in a double boiler until everything is completely melted. Stir
Once everything is in a liquid state, allow temperature of your melted mixture
to reach 120F and add optiphen preservative,
vitamin E oil, arrowroot powder.
Once this is blended, add granulated sugar. Fully incorporate.
Next, add your Fluffy Pink Candy Fragrance Oil. Stir until fully blended.
Then, divide the mixture into (2) separate bowls. Try to make it as equal as possible.
To the first bowl, add 5 drops Fun Soap Colorant- Neon Pink. Stir.
To the second bowl, add 6 drops Fun Soap Colorant- Neon Blue.
Let these bowls set until the mixture reaches room temperature.
Stirring occasionally, let each bowl set up again until you do not see any oil
sitting on the top of the mixtures.
Layer your sugar scrub mixture into jars, starting with the pink layer
first, then the blue layer. Repeat the
layers in rotating color until your jar is full. Then, fill the remaining jars the same
way. Place lids on jars and you are
