Since our fragrances are so strong, we suggest only using 1/2 ounce to 1.0 ounce of fragrance per pound of candle wax.
Coloring Suggestions: Hot Maple Toddy Wholesale Fragrance Oil:

4 drops orange plus 1 drop brown liquid candle dye or a small amount of shredded orange and brown color block per 4 pounds of wax. Never use crayons to color your candles as they will clog your wick. |

Fragrance Testing -Performance in Various Applications- Hot Maple Toddy Wholesale Fragrance Oil: Note: Our testing notes should never take the place of your own personal testing. Always test fragrance in all applications. We do not take responsibility for our test results differing from your test results. Natures Garden is not responsible for any finished products made with our raw ingredients. These cold process soap results were done by hand mixing. Stick blenders can help to incorporate fragrance back into the soap in the event that it rices during the mixing process. Fragrances containing vanilla ingredients may discolor soap. Vanilla White Color stabilizer may help prevent discoloration due to vanilla. However, there are more than 40 ingredients used in fragrance manufacturing that may contribute to discoloration of products. If we mention that a bath product thinned once fragrance was added, we suggest that you use Xanthum Gum Thickener to thicken your product.

- Fragrances may discolor bath and body products. Thorough testing will be required of the customer in order to get the results that you desire.

I ordered this oil because in the past I have bought many candles at boutiques that are Hot Maple Toddy Candles that were wonderful and had the most awesome scent. That is why I ordered this oil, hoping to be able to make my own HMT tarts, but this oil had no scent at all. I did make some of the tarts using the oil to see if it maybe would get better once I put it in the wax, but it did not have any scent at all. This was a few weeks ago, the tarts still have no scent and neither does the oil, I wonder if I got a bottle that was outdated or setting on the shelf too long! By the way I have been ordering oils from NG for over a year and I have ordered many bottles of oil, this is the first bottle that has disappointed me!!!

Soaped at room temp and had no problems. Scent was nice, soap discolored to a tan color. In candles scent was nice and strong. Love it!

Yes I like this scent but it faded in cp soap. It also turns a tan color. Would be lovely to be stronger & stay that way. Other than that it does soap fine.

This fragrance smells very good in the bottle. I used in cp soap and was very disappointed. This fragrance is very light and I used the maximum amount. Hoping the scent will get a little stronger but it's been 2 weeks.

While a nice fragrance, I don't smell much maple. It smells to me more like a creamy caramel. I used it in soy candles and by my error, didn't put in enough scent for the amount of wax, so it is a weak scent throw, but again, my error.
