 Description:
An NG Original Scent! Natures Garden Almond Rum Cake fragrance is a scrumptious bakery arrangement beginning with top notes of almond extract, chopped almonds, and dark rum; followed by middle notes of sugar cane, coconut milk, vanilla extract, and heavy cream; well-rounded with base notes of butter and cake batter. YUMMY!
Yes, there are many Almond Rum Cake recipes out there, but here is our personal favorite. It is quick, it is easy, and it is delicious.
Almond Rum Cake:
1 package yellow cake mix with pudding
2 cups heavy whipping cream
2 tablespoons granulated sugar
1 tablespoon rum
3/4 cup toasted almonds finely chopped
Chocolate shavings (optional)
Instructions:
First, preheat oven to the degree specified on the yellow cake mix box. Prepare the yellow cake mix. You are going to follow the directions on the packaging with the exception of adding milk. When the instruction calls for this ingredient, you will be substituting the amount of milk with 1/2 of the water. Spay 3 round cake pans with nonstick cooking spray. Pour cake mix evenly among the pans. Bake for 20 minutes. While cakes are baking, in a bowl, whip sugar, cream, and rum until it is moderately thick. In a separate bowl, you are going to set aside 1/3 of this mixture for the topping. With the 2/3 portion of the mixture, you are going to add the finely chopped almonds. Stir until nuts are distributed evenly among the mixture. Take the cakes out of the oven. Carefully, detach the first cake from the pan. Remove any loose crumbs from the sides of the cake. Place the cake on a plate, without covering the sides of the cake, evenly spread half of the 2/3 cream mixture. Repeat for the second layer, setting this cake on top of the first layer, and spreading the remainder of the cream mixture on top. Finally, place the third layer on the first two and top with the 1/3 reserve of cream mixture. For an added touch, you may sprinkle chocolate shavings or more toasted almonds on top of the cake. Refrigerate until ready to serve. Leftovers must also be refrigerated.

Since our fragrances are so strong, we suggest only using 1/2 ounce to 1.0 ounce of fragrance per pound of candle wax.

Stick blenders can help to incorporate fragrance back into the soap in the event that it rices during the mixing process. Fragrances containing vanilla ingredients may discolor soap. Vanilla White Color stabilizer may help prevent discoloration due to vanilla. However, there are more than 40 ingredients used in fragrance manufacturing that may contribute to discoloration of products. If we mention that a bath product thinned once fragrance was added, we suggest that you use Xanthum Gum Thickener to thicken your product.

This smells like almond, not a cherry almond like most almonds do. More like a roasted almond with a buttery cake with it, but not strong on the cake. Accelerated pretty quick but was still able to get a darker swirl in. Love this one, hope the customers do!

I adore this scent it smells so good I can smell the cake not so much the rum but the almond and the cake. I am a big fan of bakery scents though. I always think it is nice to go into someones home where it smells like they have been baking. This is a very nice scent to me and it is very strong.
