Golden Foods 416 soy tart wax. This soy wax contains no additives and is both natural and kosher. This wax blends well with beeswax, paraffin, slack wax, and microcrystalline waxes. Perfect for tarts of any size and shape and It can also be used to harden existing waxes. Our soy wax comes in flake form, and is very easy to work with. Fragrance load for this wax is 8-10%. Our soy wax can be used in lip balm formulations and other cosmetic formulations. Our flavorings (not fragrances) can be mixed with our soy wax to create fun, flavored, soy wax lip balms.
Directions and information: This is how we made our tarts shown in the picture: We heated 1 pound of GF 416 soy tart wax until all of the soy flakes were melted; temp was around 140F. We then added liquid candle dye of choice and mixed well. Added 1.5 oz. of Natures Garden concentrated fragrance oil of choice, stirred. We brought the soy wax down to about 110F, and poured soy wax into clamshell containers. Allow to set up at room temp.
Soy Wax can produce a natural frosting appearance.
