One MP Soap recipe you can include herbs in is the Mechanics Soap Recipe. We have divided this recipe into three different colors, which each have different herbs. First, the gray portion includes Dead Sea Clay Powder. This cosmetic herb is full of nutrients for your skin and helps remove toxins from the skin while providing gentle exfoliation, Next, the red portion uses Red Moroccan Clay Powder. This clay is great for removing impurities and toxins from your skin and it is moisturizing, too! Then, the orange portion of soap uses Orange Peel Powder, which has nutrients, is an anti-microbial and an anti-bacterial agent. Further, the entire bar includes ground Pumice, which is a wonderful, natural exfoliant that you can add to soaps.

Another fun Melt and Pour soap recipe that you can create is the Bamboo Hemp Soap Recipe. These little herbal bars of soap used Diamond Clear and Hemp Oil MP soap bases along with Star Anise Seed Whole. This added herb created a simple, yet beautiful design. While this herbal soap only has the moisturizing, skin care properties of a normal MP soap, the herbs in this part were a perfect alternative to other decorative options, like colorants.

Also, you can create a pretty Swirled Melt and Pour Soap Recipe with some lovely herbs. While you typically can’t swirl melt and pour soap, adding herbs to your soap base makes it possible to create swirls! IN our recipe we used a few herbs to make this swirled design.

First, we used Cocoa Powder Organic in one portion to add some beneficial properties to the skin as well as provide a lovely brown color for swirling. Next, we included Kaolin White Clay Powder for the white portion, because it has some benefits for the skin. This cosmetic clay is great for sensitive skin and will help to cleanse the skin and remove toxins. Lastly, we used Rose Clay Powder to add to the colorant and provide some nice properties in the pink portion. Since this contains Kaolin White Clay, it is just as wonderful for sensitive skin. Additionally, this clay is good for gentle exfoliation, helps to draw toxins from the skin, helps to increase circulation, reduces skin irritation, and helps to reduce inflammation.

Next, we have the Tea Tree Soap Recipe. This MP Soap uses Kaolin White Clay Powder, as it is a clay that is great for sensitive skin along with providing nice properties. So, this cosmetic clay will cleanse the skin and help to remove toxins from pores. Additionally, this recipe includes Tea Tree Australian Essential Oil, which is has anti-fungal and antibacterial properties. Also, it has been know to help with acne, reduce the appearance of scars or blemishes, and reducing wrinkles. You will love this extremely cleansing bar as it will care for you skin and help protect it from bacteria or fungus.

Lastly, we have the Activated Charcoal Soap Recipe, which is a great herbal melt and pour soap. This batch of soap includes both Activated Charcoal Powder and Poppy Seed Whole. While the poppy seeds are just to add to the appearance of the bar, the activated charcoal serves a few purposes. One reason that we used this is that it is perfect for providing a brilliant shade of black. Not only is it good for coloring, but it is an amazing natural detoxifying agent. Since this herb is able to attract toxins to it and hold them on its surface, it can pull these toxins out of your skin. Then, the toxins will be washed away with the activated charcoal.
