What Does Dill Pickle Fragrance Oil Smell Like?

Dill Pickle Fragrance Oil smells like… a pickle.  While there are some other notes that are NOT pickle, they are really only there to give a solid boost to the pickly-ness of this fragrance.  Oh, and it’s WONDERFUL!  Curiosity is typically what drives people to try this scent, and when they do, they find out that Dill Pickle is actually a really good scent for soaps and candles!

How Do Our Customers Use Dill Pickle Fragrance Oil?

Dill Pickle Fragrance Oil is a unique and loved choice for room scenting products.  Potpourri and incense can be made with a maximum recommended level of 50% fragrance oil.  This fragrance also performs nice and strong in aroma beads.  If homemade candles are what you desire, you will be happy to learn that this fragrance performs perfectly in Joy Wax and Wow Wax.  Dill Pickle Fragrance Oil also does well in Soy wax.  The recommended maximum usage for this fragrance oil is 10% when used with vegetable wax or paraffin wax.  We suggest using four drops of green liquid candle dye per four pounds of wax.  You can also shred a small amount of green color blocks into your melted wax.  Never use crayons to color your candles as they will clog your wick.

Lather up with bath and body products made with this fun fragrance!  Bath gels and bath oils have been shown to perform well with 5% of fragrance added.  Soap makers can use up to 5% fragrance oil in cold process soap or melt and pour soap recipes.  Our Cold Process Soap Testing Results show us that soaps made with Dill Pickle Fragrance Oil exhibit a perfect pour!  There is no ricing, no acceleration, no separation, and no discoloration.  There is a good scent retention.  If you wish to color your soap, we recommend using green soap colorant in the amount of your liking.  Remember never to use candle dye in bath and body products as candle dyes are not body safe.

Dill Pickle Fragrance Oil can be used to create exciting and unique products of all kinds.  Homemade perfumes perform perfectly when your recipe includes up to 5% fragrance oil.  You’ll smell like the hottest pickle on the block! Lotions pair nicely with this scent, which can be used at a maximum of 5% fragrance oil.  Customers also create homemade cleaning products which can incorporate a maximum of 2.5% fragrance oil.

Black Linen and Amber Fragrance OilBlack Linen and Amber Fragrance Oil – Fragrance Oil Spotlight

Black Linen and Amber Fragrance Oil is not only a Natures Garden original fragrance, but it is also A Best Seller!  Truth be told this fragrance has me intrigued.  The words “black linen” alone sort of make me blush!  As a quilter, I mainly stick to cotton and flannel fabrics.  With a little research, I discovered that linen is very labor-intensive to manufacture.  It’s fibers are very absorbent and garments made of linen are appreciated for their extraordinary coolness and freshness in hot weather.  A wide variety of products are made with linen such as aprons, napkins, towels, table clothes, runners, chair covers, bed linen, and men’s and women’s wear.  “Linens” also refers to lightweight undergarments such as chemises, shirts, and lingerie – note that the root word, linen!  Most of us associate the color black with formality, death, and maybe even evil.  But, what if we flipped the coin and looked at the color black for the other things that it has been known to represent such as strength, power, authority and the unknown; we can add excitement to our lives.  Let’s face it, there’s a hidden mystery to the color black.  Black linen combined with amber has limitless possibilities for creating the desired ambiance; embrace the unknown!

fragrance oilsWhat’s your name & Your Company Name:  Misty Baker  ~ Bath Sweets and Body Treats

Why did you decide to go into business?  What was your motivation?  How long have you been in business?  I have been in business for 5 years now.  It started as a hobby, making things for family then expanded to family and friends and their friends and finally I just took the jump and decided to make a go of it and never looked back!  It is so nice to have control what goes on your skin, I use the best ingredients available and keep things as natural as possible.

What products do you make and sell?  I make all kinds of unique bath and body treats as well as candles and other gift items.  I thrive on special orders and personalizing gifts to make it a one of a kind item people will treasure.  I love a good challenge and it really keeps things interesting doing unique and very different products.

What are your business goals?  Someday I hope to be financially stable and expand the business with all my family involved.   And a beach house would be really nice also!!

What are some products you use from Natures Garden; what are your favorite products from Natures Garden?  I have used everything from Natures Garden…They actually have EVERYTHING!   I love the waxes, cosmetic bases, soap base, the packaging is wonderful but what caught my eye to Natures Garden years ago was the selection of fragrance oils not to mention the quality and prices, which helps a small business, survive in these times.
