Carnation FragranceCarnation Fragrance Oil– Fragrance Oil Spotlight

Carnations have been admired throughout time by many individuals. In ancient Rome and Greece these elegant flowers were cultivated for their aesthetic and aromatic qualities. Christianity considers the first carnation to have bloomed from Mary’s tears when Jesus carried his cross. Signifying that carnations are worthy to symbolize love. The 25th president of the United States, William McKinley, would wear a carnation on his lapel for good luck. Today, carnations are included in many anniversary bouquets as symbols of love and long lasting commitment. Regardless of the significance, these delicate flowers have continued to entice individuals for centuries due to their long-lasting freshness, appearance, and delicate fragrance. Why not capture the appeal of this flower with Natures Garden’s carnation fragrance oil.

What Does Carnation Fragrance Oil Smell Like?

This fragrance oil by Natures Garden is a crisp, clean aroma of freshly picked carnation flowers with bottom notes of fresh greenery. Wonderful fresh floral fragrance to add to your line!

For candle making this fragrance can be used at a maximum of 10% in vegetable waxes and paraffin wax. The performance in joy wax and wow wax is perfect. Also, this fragrance performs nice and strong in soy wax. We advise customers to either use two drops of red liquid candle dye per four pounds of wax or shred a small amount of a red color block into your melted wax. Although color blocks may seem similar to crayons, you should never use crayons to color your candles as they will clog your wick.

Homemade bath and body products can be created using 5% Carnation Fragrance Oil. Soap makers can use the Carnation Fragrance Oil at a maximum of 5% in cold process, hot process, and melt and pour soaps. Our cold process soap testing results for this fragrance have shown no ricing, no separation, no discoloration, and good scent retention. There is slight acceleration for this fragrance, but this is typical for floral scents. It is recommended to soap at cooler temperatures and stick blend to counteract the issues caused by acceleration. We at Natures Garden suggest the use of Pink soap colorant in the amount that satisfies you for various bath and body products. Just remember to never use candle dye in any bath and body products.

Both body scents and room scents can be created using the carnation fragrance oil at a maximum usage of 5%. Potpourri and incense can be created using a maximum of 50%. Carrot Cake Fragrance OilCarrot Cake Fragrance Oil– Fragrance Spotlight

Carrot Cake Fragrance Oil is a Nature’s Garden best seller! Not that this would come as a surprise, I mean who doesn’t love cake? Especially a moist carrot cake fresh from the oven that is bursting with flavor. Top that off with a cream cheese frosting so thick and creamy you’d have to wash it down with milk. Imagine the first bite that falls apart in your mouth revealing a concoction that sends your senses in a whirlwind. Just thinking about that carrot cake makes me ready to skip dinner, which may not be so bad since this desert technically has veggies.

What does Carrot Cake Fragrance Oil smell like?

This fragrance oil by Natures Garden is a buttery spice blend with hints of peach, coconut, carrots, cinnamon and warm vanilla. A Best Seller!
Top Notes: cherry, coconut, peach
Mid Notes: butter, cinnamon, carrot zests
Base Notes: vanilla, baked cake

How Do Our Customers Use Carrot Cake Fragrance Oil?

Although the possibilities are virtually limitless, many of our customers create candles, homemade soaps, bath and body products, room scents, and scented cleaners.
Room and body scents can incorporate this cake fragrance oil. Carrot Cake Fragrance Oil can be used at a maximum of 50% in potpourri and incense. Further, this fragrance is nice and strong in aroma beads. Perfumes can be created using up to 1% of this fragrance and they will perform perfectly. Cleaning products can use a maximum of 1% for this fragrance.

Homemade candles can be created using this fragrance oil. Candle makers will find that this bakery fragrance performs perfectly in joy wax, wow wax, and is nice and strong in soy wax. Carrot Cake Fragrance Oil can be added at a maximum of 10%. It is suggested to use six drops of orange liquid candle dye plus one drop of brown liquid candle dye per four pounds of wax or shred a small amount of an orange color block and brown color block into your melted wax. Cold process soap testing results reveal that this fragrance has no ricing, no acceleration, no separation, and provides a perfect pour, and has good scent retention. Carrot Cake Fragrance Oil discolors cold process soap to a caramel. Although this caramel color may work for you, Vanilla White Color Stabilizer may help prevent discoloration due to the 7% vanillin content. However, there are more than forty ingredients used in fragrance manufacturing that may contribute to discoloration of products. We at Nature’s Garden suggest coloring your soap with orange soap colorant and brown soap colorant in the amount that satisfies you. Remember to never use candle dye in any body products.

Depending on your individual creativity and skill level you can create anything your heart desires. All you need to do is put in the effort, have some fun, and let your imagination soar!

Bath Bombs are super easy and fun to make.  They can be made into any shape using plastic fillable ornaments, molds, or left in loose form.  To read all about bath bombs, and how to use them, click on this link.

A bath bomb is a straightforward chemical reaction between an acid and a base.  Within the realm of bath bombs, the citric acid is the acid, and the baking soda or sodium bicarbonate is the base.  Logically speaking, bath bombs can be made with these two ingredients and a very small amount of liquid (witch hazel) to help them keep their shape.

However, bath bombs are the perfect luxurious product to introduce skin loving oils and benefits to your products.  The addition of various ingredients like castor oil and olive oil will allow for moisturizing aspects.  Then, with the addition of herbs like peppermint and spearmint, you can allow your bath bombs to have a refreshing and revitalizing effect.

Whipped Shaving Cream

This entry was posted in bath and body, bath products, cosmetic clays, Fragrance Oils, homemade, Natures Garden, Soap making supplies, wholesale fragrance oils and tagged , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , on by .

whipped shaving soapIf you are looking for a great homemade whipped shaving cream recipe, Natures Garden has one for you!  With a wonderfully rich and creamy lather, this thick shaving cream will leave your skin feeling smooth and rejuvenated.  In fact, after you make this shaving recipe, you will love it so much that you may never buy the store bought version again.  Plus, since this recipe is a homemade one, you can scent your shaving cream to your liking.  Natures Garden has a wonderful selection of body safe fragrance oils both feminine and masculine, and even a few truly unique ones too.

This light and fluffy cream will give you a close shave every time, and you only need a very small amount of the shaving cream to accomplish this.  Because this homemade shaving cream contains the ingredient Bentonite Clay, it makes the shaving lather slicker, allowing the razor a slippery layer to provide a sleek, nick free shave.  But, the bentonite clay benefits do not stop there.

Bentonite Clay also helps to sweep away impurities on the skin.  It can add a silky, polished feel to a product.  But, for scenting purposes in a finished product, the best benefit of Bentonite Clay is the fact that this clay allows for an even dispersion of scent throughout the whole product; working as a fixative.

Rich and exotic Mango Butter is also another stellar ingredient in this recipe.  Mango Butter is a luxurious butter that melts on the skin allowing for great moisturizing and softening effects.  The addition of this ingredient in your body products is even believed to reduce wrinkle development.

These two powerhouse ingredients together along with a few other necessities produce a whipped shaving cream that is very easy to make, very easy to use, and is a fraction of the cost of store bought kind.

To view the complete whipped shaving cream recipe, you can simply click on this link.  If you are interested in other easy to make, homemade bath and body products, candles, or home scenting products, please visit Natures Garden’s website.  The projects and instructions are listed under the Free Recipes and Classes area, and can be scented in an array of various fragrance oils; so there is something for everyone!
