Also, this sugary sweet scent would make a perfect addition to handmade soap recipes. CP soapmaking would be an awesome option. You should take a look at our Cold Process Soap Testing Results Video for this maple scent. This fragrance was perfect in our cold process soap recipe.  Our batch containing this fragrance had no  ricing, no acceleration, and no separation. The final product had a very strong and true maple syrup scent. While the bar will discolor to a brown, it is likely that adding vanilla white stabilizer will reduce this discoloration. Since the vanillin content is 3% in the fragrance oil, it is likely that much of the discoloration is caused by this ingredient. However, there are more than forty ingredients used in fragrance manufacturing that could contribute to discoloration of products.

How Do Our Customers Use Maple Sugar Fragrance Oil in Room Scenting Recipes?

Homemade room scenting products can be created with this sticky sweet fragrance oil. Potpourri and incense can each use this syrup scent at a maximum of 50% in the overall recipe. Aroma bead products will hold a scent that is both nice and strong for this fragrance oil.

Further, this maple syrup fragrance oil can be included perfectly in candle recipes. Homemade scented candles can utilize up to 10% of this maple fragrance oil. Pillars and container candles made with our WOW Wax, Joy Wax, Pillar of Bliss, or soy waxes all produced candles with phenomenal cold and hot scent throw. If you don’t know which color you want to add to your candle products, then we would suggest that you use color them a warm brown.  When using liquid dye, we recommend four drops of Spectrum brown liquid candle dye with one drop of Spectrum red liquid candle dye. If you prefer color blocks, a small amount of shredded brown and red color blocks will produce a beautiful color for the scent. These suggestions are based on a four pound batch.

Candy Corn Fragrance OilCandy Corn Fragrance Oil – Fragrance Oil Spotlight

Candy Corn Fragrance Oil from Nature’s Garden is the sweet, buttery smell of the classic Fall candy. Did you know? When candy corn was first sent into production, the company making it called it chicken feed!  This name was given to the chewy treat because the individual pieces resembled dried kernels of corn.  The pieces are roughly 3 times larger than a real kernel of corn.  It wasn’t until years later when a new company purchased the candy corn product that its new name was branded.  Candy Corn is everywhere around Halloween time, which makes this fragrance instantly recognizable.  If you’re looking to build your Fall line or create some delicious-smelling, unique Halloween products, Candy Corn Fragrance Oil is definitely a must-have!

What Does Candy Corn Fragrance Oil Smell Like?

This fragrance oil is a mix of warm vanilla candy with top notes of butter.  These notes rest on a very subtle down of almond.

How Do Our Customers Use Candy Corn Fragrance Oil?

Enjoy a Halloween harvest classic with Candy Corn fragrance oil.  Customers love creating room scenting projects with this fall fragrance oil.  Room scenting recipes can blend up to 50% of this fragrance oil into products such as oils for burners, homemade reed diffusers, and potpourri.  This candy fragrance can also be used to handcraft strongly scented aroma beads.  If you are looking to create homemade candles or tarts, you can use Candy Corn Fragrance Oil up to 10%. This includes vegetable waxes and paraffin wax.  In our testing, this childhood scent performed extremely in our Pillar of Bliss Wax, which is a wax used in homemade wax melts and homemade pillar candles.  If you wish to color your candles, we would recommend making a three-layered candle with the colors of orange, yellow, and white.  If you make wax tarts, we recommend the same.  We have even created a Candy Corn Clamshell Recipe demonstrating this technique.  This coloring suggestion can be accomplished by using either liquid candle dye or small amounts of color blocks.

Candy Corn Fragrance Oil can even be used in your bath and body products.  Both soap and bath oils were found to smell great when the recommended maximum of 5% fragrance oil is incorporated.  Whether you make homemade melt and pour soap or cp soap, you can use 5% fragrance oil.  We have even shown exactly how this fragrance oil performs in CP Soap.  Make sure you check out our Cold Process Soap Testing Results Video.  This sweet fragrance oil had a good scent retention in cured soap and discolored to a light brown. Using Vanilla White Color Stabilizer can help correct some of this discoloration, but you will need to test.  The soap experienced no ricing and no separation.  There was no acceleration. If you wish to color your your soap or bath products, we would recommend using orange soap colorant in the amount that satisfies you.

Customers also incorporate Candy Corn Fragrance Oil into other scented projects.  One such product is homemade perfume.  Homemade perfumes perform well with this warm fragrance when a maximum of 5% fragrance oil is used.  Homemade lotions perform very well also. We recommend adhering to a 5% fragrance oil maximum.  You can even create homemade cleaning products.  These types of projects also perform well when a maximum fragrance usage of 5%.

Apples and Oak FragranceApples and Oak Fragrance Oil Spotlight

Smelling this fragrance oil will make you feel as if you’re eating a giant, juicy apple while sitting under an awesome oak tree. Oh, oaks. Oaks are big, beautiful trees that provide an immense amount of shade. You might have seen them in your yard or a park; they’re quite popular in recreational areas. Oaks are also a symbol of strength, and let me tell you, this is a strong, beautiful scent. The wood from oak trees is used to make wine barrels and the bark of cork oak is used to make wine stoppers. The oak barrels add an extra richness to these wines. (We’ve got wine scents, too!) In 2004, the United States Congress officially designated the oak as America’s National Tree. So what could be more American than apples and oak? (Baseball?) There are even famous oak trees that are estimated to be hundreds- if not over a thousand- years old.  Acorns also come from oaks, and if you’re looking for an acorn fragrance without the apples, we’ve got that, too: Acorn Harvest Fragrance Oil.

What Does Apples and Oak Fragrance Oil Smell Like?

A truly complex fragrance blend of McIntosh and Granny Smith apples, with notes of woodsy fresh oak leaves and oak moss.

How Do Our Customers Use Apples and Oak Fragrance Oil?

Candles! This ideal autumn aroma performs perfectly in joy wax and wow wax, and comes across nice and strong in soy wax. It is gel wax compatible! The maximum recommended usage percentage for vegetable waxes and paraffin wax is 10%. Our candle coloring suggestions are to use six drops of red and two drops of brown liquid candle dye per four pounds of wax or shred an ample amount of cinnamon color block into your melted wax.

Soaps! The maximum recommended usage percentage for this fresh fall fragrance oil in soaps, bath oils, bath gels, and cleaning products is 5%. With a vanillin content of 0%, this fragrance is unlikely to discolor your bath and body products. And guess what? Our CP Soap testing results found just that: no discoloration, no acceleration, no ricing, no separation, and a very strong and lasting scent retention (strong and lasting, much like the oak tree itself). Our coloring suggestions for bath and body products are to use red soap colorant in the amount that satisfies you.

As far as soap molds go, we’ve got a pretty neat 3D Apple Mold if you’d like to make apple-shaped, apples-and-oak-scented soap. We’ve also got cute little Oak Leaves & Acorns molds if you’d like to make small oak-leaf-  or acorn-shaped soaps. This mold also works for candle embeds, which works wonderfully with this gel wax compatible fragrance!

Lotions and perfumes! The maximum recommended usage percentage for this sweet scent in lotions and perfumes is 5%. This oaky aroma performs perfectly in perfumes.

Room scents! The maximum recommended usage percentage for this Apples and Oak fragrance oil in incense and potpourri is 50%. This scent came across nice and strong in aroma beads.

Oaky dokey; have fun!
