It is actually very common plant that could possible be mistaken for a weed, however, this plant is anything but a pesky old weed! Nettle Leaf is also known as Common Nettle or Stinging Nettle (although not all varieties sting). Nettle Leaf is native to many parts of the world including North America and Europe. Nettle Leaf Bath Bomb Recipe: Two Key Ingredients

In this bath bomb we have used two of your standard bath bomb ingredients, Citric Acid and Baking Soda! Citric Acid (when combined with baking soda) is what gives your bath bombs their fizz! It naturally occurs in citrus fruits and acts as a preservative. Also, citric acid is used in a multitude of products and industries. From foods to medicinal to bath and body products, it is a very convenient ingredient to have on hand. The other ingredient is Baking Soda, or Sodium Bicarbonate. This is a gentle, natural alkaline that is used in cosmetic formulations and cleaning formulas to lift dirt, and remove oils. It can be used in anything from a dish washing detergent to using as a rinse to help get your hair soft and shiny!

Nettle Bath Bomb Recipe: Avocado OilNettle Bath Bomb Recipe: Avocado Oil

Avocado Oil is a wonderful, moisturizing ingredient that is helpful for those with sensitive skin! It also is one of the few oils that has a high percentage of unsaponifiables (the portions of the oil that do not react with the lye to form soap). It is also full of vitamins such as A, D and E.

Nettle Bath Bomb Recipe: Kaolin Clay PowderNettle Bath Bomb Recipe: Kaolin Clay Powder

Kaolin Clay, also called China Clay, is a white clay that is perfect for sensitive skin types.  This clay is commonly used to make mineral makeup such as foundation, eye shadow, and blush.  Also, Kaolin clay is used in formulations as a thickener and is added to bath bombs to harden them.  Like most clays, kaolin clay helps cleanse the skin and remove toxins.

Sweet Orange Chili Pepper had wonderful hot and cold throws in candle making. It also made wonderful air fresheners and it worked well in all bath and body products.

With such a popular fragrance, we needed a recipe to go along with it. Nature’s Garden created Sweet Orange Chili Pepper Cold Process Soap Recipe. Our base soap recipe is helpful when creating the pretty red and orange swirls. There was no accelerating and it gave excellent time to do an in the pot swirl.

Fragrance Oils for Warmers Using Scents in Liquid Potpourri

One way to use fragrance oils in warmers if to create a liquid potpourri. This uses a fragrance oil and a carrier oil to create a liquid that is perfect for room scenting. While you may be tempted to simply add the fragrance oil of your choice to the warmer directly, this will not work out as you think. The concentration of our fragrance oils is high, so you need to combine our scents with carrier oils, such as coconut oil, to achieve the scent you will want. So, you would need to create a 50/50 mixture that is half a carrier oil and half a fragrance oil. Alternatively, you can dilute the fragrance oils with DPG, again doing a 50/50 mix. We have a few recipes available that will show you how to create scents for your warmer. If you are interested, then check out the Spicy Liquid Potpourri Recipe or the Vanilla Liquid Potpourri Recipe for more details.

Fragrance Oils for Warmers Using Scents in Wax

Another great way to incorporate fragrances into your warmers is to add them to wax. Not only does wax hold the scent well, but it is easy to create fun wax melts that look cute! For example, you can create the Cupcake Wax Tarts Recipe that makes the wax tart look just like a little cupcake! Alternatively, you can create a recipe like the Pumpkin Delight Clamshell Tarts Recipe that has layers of wax in a clamshell container.  Finally, you can use granulated wax, like in our Autumn Leaves Potpourri Recipe, to create a scoopable wax for your oil burner.

Fragrance Oils for Warmers Unique Recipes for Warmers

Plus, there are even more great ways to use fragrance oils for warmers. One such recipe is the Shimmering Gel Potpourri Recipe. This recipe uses both an oil and wax to create a gel that is perfect for carrying the fragrance oil. So, there are different kinds of ideas out for adding fragrances to warmers.

Dragons Blood Fragrance OilDragons Blood Fragrance Oil – Fragrance Oil Spotlight

Dragons Blood Fragrance Oil from Nature’s Garden is the aroma of Dragons Blood essential oil.  This earthy, spicy incense is perfect for adding a unique scent to your projects.  Dragons Blood truly has a scent that is all its own.  This common incense doesn’t actually come from dragons (I know, I was shocked too!).  Originally, Dragons Blood was a resin derived from two different tree species, d. draco and d. cinnabari.  Today, the popular Dragons Blood resin is most commonly sold as a derivative of Rattan, a palm plant native to the tropics of Africa and Asia.  There is little distinction made between the various types of Dragons Blood resins.  Dragons Blood has been thought to have incredible physical and spiritual health benefits for centuries.  Give this unique fragrance oil a try, you will not be disappointed!

What Does Dragons Blood Fragrance Oil Smell Like?

Dragon’s Blood Fragrance Oil is a classic incense fragrance.  This fragrance is the aroma of Dragons Blood essential oil.  Try this warm and earthy fragrance out today!

How Do Our Customers Use Dragons Blood Fragrance Oil?

Enjoy this incense aroma with a wide variety of products. Our customers create prominent room scenting products with this fragrance oil.  Room scenters can incorporate up to 50% of this fragrance oil in projects like incense and potpourri.  This fragrance oil is also nice and strong in aroma beads.  Homemade candle crafters can use Dragons Blood Fragrance Oil up to 10% with vegetable waxes and paraffin wax.  This scent will perform perfectly in Joy Wax, Wow Wax, and is nice and strong in soy waxes.  If you wish to color your candles, we would recommend five drops of red and one drop of black liquid candle dye per 4 pounds of wax.  You can also color your melted wax with a small amount of red and black color blocks.  Remember, never use crayons to color your candles as they will clog your wick.

Dragons Blood Fragrance Oil can also be incorporated into your bath and body products.  Bath gels and oils were found to perform well when the recommended maximum of 5% fragrance oil is incorporated.  Soap makers can use 5% fragrance oil in cold process soap and melt and pour soap recipes.  Our Cold Process Soap Testing Results show that this fragrance oil had a very, very strong scent retention in cured soap and discolored to a dark tan.  The soap experienced no ricing and no separation.  There was no acceleration and the soap poured perfectly. If you wish to color your bath and body products, we would recommend using red and black soap colorant in the amount that satisfies you.  Remember not to use candle dye in any of your bath and body products as they are not body safe.

Customers also incorporate Dragons Blood Fragrance Oil into many other products.  One such product is homemade perfume.  Homemade perfumes and perfume oils perform well with this earthy fragrance when a maximum of 5% fragrance oil is used.  Homemade lotions adhering to a 5% fragrance oil maximum perform very well.  Homemade cleaning supplies also perform well with a maximum fragrance usage of 5%.
