fragrance oilsWhat’s your name & Your Company Name:  Debbie’s Handmade Soap

I have been making CP soap going on 14 years! I heard about soap making at a Mom’s Retreat for home school moms and it just reached right out and grabbed me. I read everything I could find about the “hobby”. My first batches were not the greatest. I kept on researching and making different batches trying to find a soap that would help my daughters Eczema. After much trial and error I finally got my recipe the way I wanted it….a soap with a rich creamy lather and a soap that conditioned the skin and one that would hold it scent for the duration of the bar! With the help of Nature’s Garden I have some of the best scents there are!! I had so many bars of soap that were “tryouts” in the beginning and one day a lady who had bought some soap from me at a little market I attended called me and said “Do you know that your soap floats? “ I said “ No I didn’t know that” when my husband came home that evening we were talking and I told him what she had said. As I was finishing up getting dinner on the table I went to call for him and couldn’t figure out where he was. I opened the bathroom door and there he was sitting in the tub with 8 or 9 bars of soap and he looked up and said “Hey this one really does float!” It was so funny. I started out making about 10 – 4.5 ounce bars per batch and now I make 40- 4.5 ounce bars per batch and some days I make all 16 of my molds full of soap, that’s 640 bars of soap at one time!! The soap is 50% Olive Oil and is so healing for problem skin.  It took me 3 years to perfect the soap and now almost 14 years later I am so glad I let it grab me, what started as an interest quickly turned into a business and I am glad for I have so enjoyed it! I do retail and wholesale and have shipped to every state nation wide!! My website is in the process of being up dated new pics and videos are on the way soon. My FB page has up to date pics of my work. Stop by and see us or give me a call if you have any questions

In The Picture….Blackberry BlingLoving Spell (Pink), Gardenia,Fresh Strawberry, and Honey Almond.
