What Does Eggnog Fragrance Oil Smell Like?

Eggnog Fragrance Oil from Nature’s Garden is a rich, creamy aroma that embodies the scent of traditional eggnog!  The holiday beverage is a unique blend of sweet, creamy ingredients that are complimented and balanced by warm spices, and sometimes even smooth rum.  We feel that Eggnog Fragrance Oil is completely reminiscent of this delectable treat!

Top Notes: cherry, butter rum, egg nog
Mid Notes: nutmeg, clove, cinnamon
Base Notes: buttercream, vanilla

How Do Our Customers use Eggnog Fragrance Oil?

Customers use Eggnog Fragrance Oil to create sweet, inviting room scents that are inviting and intoxicating.  Products such as incense, potpourri, and Smelly Jellies can incorporate this fragrance oil as 50% of the total recipe. This fragrance oil also performs exceptionally well in aroma beads.  Wax based products, such as candles and tarts, will perform exceptionally well when up to 10% fragrance oil is incorporated in your recipe.  This scent will perform perfectly in Joy Wax and Wow Wax.  It will also perform very well in soy wax.  Unfortunately, this fragrance is not gel wax compatible, but we’re confident you’ll find no shortage of creative ways to utilize this scent!  If you wish to color your candle wax, we recommend using one drop of brown liquid candle dye per four pounds of wax, or your could shred a small amount of brown color block into your melted wax.  Crayons are not a viable replacement for candle colorants as they will clog your wick.

Eggnog Fragrance Oil is a buttery sweet scent, but it does have a spicy side!  Because of this, it is recommended that bath and body products incorporate much less fragrance oil than you may be used to.  Rest assured, this is for both safety and practicality!  Bath gels, bath bombs, and oils perform perfectly when .05% fragrance oil is used.  Homemade soap makers can use up to .05% in cold process soaps or melt and pour soap recipes.  Because of the small usage percentage for this fragrance oil, our staff did not test this fragrance in CP soap.  If you wish to color your soap, we recommend using brown soap dye according to your specification.  Remember, never use candle dye to color your bath and body products as they are not body safe.

Much like bath products, other related body products require a small usage percentage of Eggnog Fragrance Oil be followed.  Using a maximum recommended amount .01% fragrance oil, our customers create distinct homemade perfumes, body sprays, and lotions.  Customers also make their own household cleaning supplies with a maximum of .05% fragrance oil.

Candy Corn Fragrance OilCandy Corn Fragrance Oil – Fragrance Oil Spotlight

Candy Corn Fragrance Oil from Nature’s Garden is the sweet, buttery smell of the classic Fall candy. Did you know? When candy corn was first sent into production, the company making it called it chicken feed!  This name was given to the chewy treat because the individual pieces resembled dried kernels of corn.  The pieces are roughly 3 times larger than a real kernel of corn.  It wasn’t until years later when a new company purchased the candy corn product that its new name was branded.  Candy Corn is everywhere around Halloween time, which makes this fragrance instantly recognizable.  If you’re looking to build your Fall line or create some delicious-smelling, unique Halloween products, Candy Corn Fragrance Oil is definitely a must-have!

What Does Candy Corn Fragrance Oil Smell Like?

This fragrance oil is a mix of warm vanilla candy with top notes of butter.  These notes rest on a very subtle down of almond.

How Do Our Customers Use Candy Corn Fragrance Oil?

Enjoy a Halloween harvest classic with Candy Corn fragrance oil.  Customers love creating room scenting projects with this fall fragrance oil.  Room scenting recipes can blend up to 50% of this fragrance oil into products such as oils for burners, homemade reed diffusers, and potpourri.  This candy fragrance can also be used to handcraft strongly scented aroma beads.  If you are looking to create homemade candles or tarts, you can use Candy Corn Fragrance Oil up to 10%. This includes vegetable waxes and paraffin wax.  In our testing, this childhood scent performed extremely in our Pillar of Bliss Wax, which is a wax used in homemade wax melts and homemade pillar candles.  If you wish to color your candles, we would recommend making a three-layered candle with the colors of orange, yellow, and white.  If you make wax tarts, we recommend the same.  We have even created a Candy Corn Clamshell Recipe demonstrating this technique.  This coloring suggestion can be accomplished by using either liquid candle dye or small amounts of color blocks.

Candy Corn Fragrance Oil can even be used in your bath and body products.  Both soap and bath oils were found to smell great when the recommended maximum of 5% fragrance oil is incorporated.  Whether you make homemade melt and pour soap or cp soap, you can use 5% fragrance oil.  We have even shown exactly how this fragrance oil performs in CP Soap.  Make sure you check out our Cold Process Soap Testing Results Video.  This sweet fragrance oil had a good scent retention in cured soap and discolored to a light brown. Using Vanilla White Color Stabilizer can help correct some of this discoloration, but you will need to test.  The soap experienced no ricing and no separation.  There was no acceleration. If you wish to color your your soap or bath products, we would recommend using orange soap colorant in the amount that satisfies you.

Customers also incorporate Candy Corn Fragrance Oil into other scented projects.  One such product is homemade perfume.  Homemade perfumes perform well with this warm fragrance when a maximum of 5% fragrance oil is used.  Homemade lotions perform very well also. We recommend adhering to a 5% fragrance oil maximum.  You can even create homemade cleaning products.  These types of projects also perform well when a maximum fragrance usage of 5%.

Poison Pie Fragrance OilPoison Pie Fragrance Spotlight

Have you ever wanted to eat something delicious even though you know it’s bad for you? Well, maybe just one more piece of pie… This mouth-watering aroma will definitely have you coming back for more. If you’re a fan of apple and blueberry pies, this deadly scent already has you in its sights. The name of this fragrance is not to be confused with the common nickname of the moderately poisonous Hebeloma crustuliniforme mushroom. A friendly reminder to not eat those mushrooms and not consume fragrance oil. You can, however, use this delicious scent to make candles, room scents, and bath & body products. (Don’t eat those, either!)

What Does Poison Pie Fragrance Oil Smell Like?

This fragrance is a killer fragrance to say the least!  The aroma of freshly picked blueberries, fresh cut granny smith apples, smothered in butter, cream, and cinnamon, with a background of fresh baked crust.  This fragrance is to die for!  An NG Original Fragrance!

Soaps! The maximum recommended usage percentage for this freshly baked fragrance in bath oils, bath gels, and soaps is 1%. Our cold process soap testing found that this fragrance caused no ricing, and no separation, but it did cause some slight acceleration. To slow the speed at which your CP soap batter reaches trace, we recommend soaping this scent at room temperature. Cured bars showed no discoloration and had light scent retention. Our coloring suggestions for bath and body products are to use blue and black soap colorants in the amount that satisfies you. This is where I’d normally mention natural soap colorant, but unfortunately, natural blue colors are difficult to find. However, if you’d like to use a natural soap color for your black coloring- try activated charcoal powder. It also has the added benefits of being a detoxifying agent for your skin and a natural odor absorber. Never color your bath and body products with candle colorants or they will end up coloring you!

Pleasingly Pumpkin FragrancePleasingly Pumpkin Fragrance Oil Spotlight

It’s time for the autumn season and time for pumpkins! It’s a big ol’ pumpkin party! We’ve even got two famous festivals in Ohio celebrating the orange gourds: The Barnesville Pumpkin Festival and The Circleville Pumpkin Show. Both celebrations boast giant pumpkin contests. The competing pumpkins in Barnesville are so big that conventional scales are too small- the funeral home scale is used instead! Extra spooky! Pumpkins competing for King Pumpkin in Barnesville typically weight over 1400 pounds. The largest pumpkin to date at the Circleville Pumpkin show was almost 2000 lbs. Both festivals feature parades and pageants. If you love pumpkins as much as these folks, then this is the fragrance for you!

What Does Pleasingly Pumpkin Fragrance Oil Smell Like?

The sweet, creamy combination of pumpkin puree with warm notes of butter and sweet vanilla cream. An NG Original Scent!

Candles! This authentic aroma performs perfectly in joy wax and wow wax and is nice and strong in soy wax. It is not gel wax compatible. The maximum recommended usage percentage for this fall fragrance in vegetable waxes and paraffin wax is 10%. Our coloring suggestions for candles are to use 3 drops orange liquid candle dye per 4 pounds of wax or shred a small amount of orange color block into your melted wax. Never color candles with crayons; it will clog the wick!

We’ve also got an awesome Pinecone Firestarters recipe! You only need pillar of bliss wax, fragrance, candle dye, candle wicks, and pinecones! If you follow the simple instructions closely, you should have great smelling firestarters in no time! Please remember that these are designed to start a fire in your fireplace and are not intended to be used as regular candles. Be sure to adhere to all rules of fireplace safety!

Room scents (no fire needed)! This sweet, true scent comes across nice and strong in aroma beads and it maximum recommended usage percentage in incense and potpourri is 50%.

Soaps! The maximum recommended usage percentage for this alluring autumn aroma in bath oils, bath gels, and soaps is 5%. Our cold process soap testing found that CP soap made with this fragrance had perfect pour: no acceleration, no ricing, no separation, and strong scent retention. It did, however, discolor to a chocolate color. This is likely due to the fragrance’s 5% vanillin content. Vanillin has a tendency to discolor bath and body products to varying shades of brown; more vanillin means darker discoloration. In order to combat discoloration due to vanilla, we recommend trying Vanilla White Color Stabilizer. Remember- you are responsible for the results in your finished products. Our coloring suggestions for bath and body products are to use orange soap colorant in the amount that satisfies you. Never color bath and body products with candle dye or they will end up coloring you!
