The Goddess of the Universe Fragrance Oil is a sexy scent available at Natures Garden. This sensual aroma is for strong women who know what they want in life and know how to get exactly that. The women purchasing this wonderful feminine aroma agree, this scent is a hit!  One customer stated, “I can’t explain how much I love this fragrance, it’s exotic, sweet, and clean all at the same time. I used it in our bath bombs as a limited edition & now will be adding it to our permanent fragrance line!” Try it for yourself and let us know what you think!

What Does Goddess of the Universe Fragrance Oil Smell Like?

This fragrance oil by Natures Garden is one of the sexiest, come-hither, arrangement of sensual musks and floral powdery notes in a fragrance oil that we have ever smelled!  The ultimate in femininity;  Subtle white flowers of jasmine, ylang ylang and honeysuckle delicately pair with an airy white musk that imparts a clean powdery finish.  I named this scent Goddess of the Universe as a joke.  Mike, my husband, nicknamed me “The goddess of the universe” because I tend to like to “run” everything my way.  LOL!  I am betting that many of you women out there could be referred to as a goddess of the universe too.  This particular scent is our rendition of the popular Egyptian goddess scent worn by women all over the world.

How Do Our Customers Use Goddess of the Universe Fragrance Oil?

Homemade candle makers can create their products with this gravitating fragrance oil. Candle recipes that use vegetable waxes or paraffin wax can include up to 10% of this commanding scent. Pillar of Bliss Wax, Joy wax and WOW wax will both perform perfectly. Also, the scent is nice and strong in soy waxes. We suggest using one drop of red liquid candle dye per four pounds of wax to color your Goddess of the Universe scented candles. You can also use color blocks to color your wax. We suggest you shred a small amount of a red color block into your melted wax.

In addition to candles, other homemade room scenting recipes can be created with this attractive fragrance oil.  Goddess of the Universe scent is nice and strong in aroma beads. Potpourri and incense can include up to 50% of this scent. However, this fragrance oil is not gel wax compatible.

Although the fragrance causes some slight acceleration to occur, the batch will experience no ricing and no separation. The final product will have no discoloration and the bar will have a very strong scent throw! You can always soap at room temperature, this may help with the acceleration. Other products that could be created are scented perfumes and homemade lotions, which perform perfectly with this exotic fragrance oil at a 5% maximum usage recommendation. Also, homemade cleaners can be created using a 5% maximum fragrance usage rate. Bath oils and bath gels will perform well as long as the total amount of fragrance included is 5% or less. If you wish to color any of your bath and body products, then we suggest using red soap dye in the amount that satisfies you.  Remember that you should never use candle dye in any body products.

30 Poison Ivy Treatments30 Poison Ivy Treatments

Deborah’s husband Mike has recently gotten in contact with some poison ivy, which most of us can sympathize with. While this is an awful predicament, there are numerous home remedies for making the healing process faster and less painful. So, we would like to share with you some of the natural relief and healing methods for the unfortunate event of you ever running into on of these three leafed menaces.

Why Does Posion Ivy Itch?30 poison ivy treatments why

Poison Ivy is a plantain the genus Rhus that is accompanied in this genus by plants like poison oak and poison sumac. These kinds of plants contain an oil called urushiol. This oil sinks into your skin and causes your body to respond to the toxic invasion, which results in a rash, blisters, or even an allergic reaction. So, attempts to remove this oil may prove to be worthwhile. Attempts at curing this irritation and of course some methods to speed up healing and reduce itching can be useful as well.

List of 30 different Poison Ivy Treatments

  1. Baking Soda: Using this in a bath or paste is a great way to dry up a rash and reduce the healing time. We suggest 1/2 a cup of baking soda for a bath full of warm water or three teaspoons of baking soda with one teaspoon of water to form a paste to apply directly to the rash.
  2. Banana peals: This cools the rash and reduces itchy skin caused by different varieties, such as poison ivy or bug bites.
  3. Oatmeal paste: If you cook a small amount of thick oatmeal and apply to skin, then it will dry and relieve the skin once it cools.
  4. Organic Apple Cider Vinegar: This remedy sucks the toxin out of the skin and reduces the irritation. We suggest you to use one teaspoon for your afflicted area or to soak a small rag to apply to the area.
  5. Rubbing Alcohol: Applying this to the rash will break up the oils that are secreted from the ivy.
  6. Aloe Vera Gel: This supports a normal immune response, soothes redness, reduces swelling, cools the area, and immediately heals the afflicted area.
  7. Witch Hazel: You can dab this on the infected area to clean the rash, relieve itch, and promote healing.
  8. Powdered Goldenseal Root: Combine this with hot water to create a paste to rub on the skin. This will reduce infection. Also, you can make goldenseal tea or goldenseal supplement for quicker results.
  9. Himalayan Crystal Salt: Using Himalayan salt and water paste or taking a warm salt water bath will dry out skin and pull the poison from the skin.
  10. Watermelon Rind: Applying this to the rash will lead to itch relief.
  11. Manzanita Leaf Tea: A handful of the herb boiled into thick tea can be applied to skin a few times per day to reduce itching
  12. Jewelweed: Rub a crushed stem into skin to reduce effects from the urushiol oil.
  13. Mugwort: This will prevent rash, heal, and neutralize urushiol. Just grind fresh leaves and apply to the affected area.
  14. Honeysuckle juice: This relieve itch. Use 3 cups of honeysuckle leaves and 1 cup of water. Strain and use juice on the rash.
  15. Rhubarb: This relieves itch. Simply break open the stem and rub as often as needed.
  16. Milkweed: This will reduce itch, will dry the rash, and cause faster healing. Just pull leaves, dab milk sap over rash/blisters and let dry
  17. Blow Dyer: This will pull histamines out of the rash. Although they will build up again over time, the time between itching will increase as the rash dries out.  Simply turn it on hot and run over rash, make sure not to leave on one area to long to avoid burning.
  18. Hot Shower: This will provide a similar effect as the blow dyer by pulling out histamines.
  19. Oatmeal Bath: Grind up about a cup, create a bath tea, and let it soak for about 30 minutes or apply directly to skin to reduce the itch.
  20. Cold Coffee: The chlorogenic acid in coffee is an anti-inflammatory that can keep swelling down.
  21. Tea Tree Oil: Applying Tea Tree Essential Oil can help help after rash stopped oozing. It may sting but it will fade. You only need a few drops.
  22. Lavender Oil: Using Lavender Essential Oil will help you to heal after the oozing has stopped.
  23. Ocean Water: Similarly to the previous salt method, ocean water will dry out the rash and help with healing.
  24. Mouthwash: This will help healing. Mint helps cool the rash, alcohol dries the rash out, and the antibacterial will reduce infection.
  25. Pine Tar Soap: Using this will help the rash to heal.
  26. Creating a Tolerance: You can try eating safe foods that contain urushiol to help build your tolerance to poison ivy. These include tomatoes, mangoes, pistachios, and cashews.
  27. Aspirin: The Salicylic acid in these pills speeds healing. Make paste with bit of water, put on skin, and let dry.
  28. Dish Soap: Using this will break down the urushiol oils and reduce irritation.
  29. Calamine Lotion– This will reduce the itch caused by poison ivy.
  30. Cucumbers: Just make a paste and apply to area to soothe rash.

Hillbilly Homebrew Fragrance OilHillbilly Homebrew Fragrance Oil – Fragrance Oil Spotlight

Hillbilly Homebrew Fragrance Oil is a woodsy cider scent by Natures Garden. Not only is this fragrance oil an NG original, but it is a bestseller as well! This aroma is a woodsy hard cider homebrew that is perfect for a crisp autumn day. While most people know of or have tasted a batch of homebrewed hard cider, not many people seem to know its history. From the very beginning of America’s history hard apple cider was possibly the most popular of all the available alcoholic beverages. However, prohibition among other things involving the countries development caused much of the public to turn their backs on this hard cider. While prohibition was eventually repealed, the same vigor for this classic beverage was not rekindled in the public’s eye. This left hard cider as a trade for a few family farms to pass on the historic tradition of homebrewed hard cider. This means that the good ole boys are some of the few left keeping this history rich tradition alive. Even though the much of this alcoholic beverage’s popularity died away almost 100 years ago, its taste is still just as rich and perfectly brewed as it was the days before prohibition. Which is why I’d say that this woodsy hard cider homebrew fragrance oil is perfect for hillbillies and city folk alike.

What Does Hillbilly Homebrew Fragrance Oil Smells Like?

This fragrance oil by Natures Garden is the aroma of mulled cider with woodsy notes of oak, cinnamon bark and cloves, with hints of wildberries. A Best Seller!  An NG Original Fragrance!

Moreover, this strong fragrance oil can be included in unique homemade candle recipes. You can even use it to make homemade wax tarts. Any candle product that is made from either vegetable waxes or paraffin wax can include up to 10% of this country brew scent. If you want to color your homemade candle creations, then we suggest using either five drops of orange liquid candle dye along with one drop of brown liquid candle dye or a small amount of shredded orange color block along with brown color block per four pounds of wax. Remember that you should never use crayons as a substitute to color your candles as they will clog your candle wick.

While homemade room scents be created using this alcoholic fragrance oil, bath and body can not be made using our Hillbilly Homebrew Fragrance Oil as it is not body safe. Since this scent is not body safe, it shouldn’t be used on the skin or any place where the fragrance my come into often/constant skin contact. Therefore, bath oils, bath gels, soaps, lotions, homemade cleaning products and other related bath and body products can not safely include this fragrance oil.
