Beautiful fall fragrance!

This soaped beautifully at room temperature, and only discolored slightly for me, but I used it to my advantage when picking out the colorants. The cured bars flew off the shelves!

This is one of the first FO I tried when I first started CP soap making because I really wanted a pine smelling soap. Loved it still do but like the reviews say it will discolor a pinkish then tan. it is one of my best sellers though both men and women love it! Holds the fragrance for quite a long time! Smells amazing! Thanks NG!

This is nice if you like woodsy pine scents. It's mixed very well. Not sweet but earthy and settle. This is an okay seller for me depending if customers appeal to earthy scents. Would be nice to mix with something else

Discolors from Pink to Tan in CP!

5 Balsam and Cedar Fragrance Oil

Reviewer: from Middle TN

While this is an otherwise wonderful FO (smells great, no acceleration at somewhat more than room temp soaping) to use in CP soap, it does discolor. Within hours the soap turns pink and the pink turns to tan over time. This really should be noted on your information page where you do your test results for CP. The tan is not bad, but it was unexpected the first time I used this FO!

Discolored cp soap

2 Balsam and Cedar Fragrance Oil

Reviewer: from Minneapolis, MN

Contrary to the info. provided, I found the Balsam and Cedar f.o. discolored a batch of cp soap to a medium tan, which meant my green imbeds looked bad and pretty much ruined the look of the batch. The smell is very nice, though. If you want to retain your color, use the Balsam f.o. instead. Balsam did not discolor in the same recipe.

I haven't sold too many candles but this one is a top seller (of the 26 I have sold). Honestly, I'm not sure why because it reminds me a lot of Pine Sol. However, I've asked people and they disagree. It's very strong in Joy Wax.

I use the Balsam and Cedar fragrance oil in our hot process beer soap and beard oil. Men (the outdoorsy types) love it. The scent sticks well - definitely a masculine scent.

Great Fragrance, Nasty Color Change

4 Balsam and Cedar Fragrance Oil

Reviewer: from Lapeer, MI US

I have used this fragrance several times in different cold process recipes and it always discolors on the outside of the bars, looks dirty. But the fragrance is awesome! I actually make an air freshener with this fragrance. Is there anything I can do to avoid this besides making brown soap?

Would be 5 stars if it didn't discolor

3 Balsam and Cedar Fragrance Oil

Reviewer: from Fuquay Varina, North Carolina US

I love the scent, it sticks well, and is pretty strong, but doesn't smell like pinesol or medicine. I am disappointed, though, that this discolored to a tan. The pretty blue and white swirls I made turned a weird pink then tan as it cured. I love the scent, so I am using the soap; but I don't feel it's pretty enough give away. Unfortunately, I made a pretty big batch, so there will be a lot to use up before I make another batch. The next time, I'll take into account the discoloration into the color design.
